Fun at the Brainline Durban Tour

Durban Tour 27 April – 1 May 2015

The Durban tour promised to be loads and loads of fun — and when you ask one of the 38 learners who joined us on this adventurous event, they will prove it to you!

Brainline sponsored 40% towards the fees of the tour, making it more affordable for learners to take part in this unforgettable tour.

While most of us were still asleep, the tour group gathered from 03:00 AM at the Brainline Montana campus. Soon thereafter, a bus took them to the airport for a quick flight to Durbs. Pure excitement overruled the idea of sleep, everyone made new friends, and the fun began!

Just imagine the fresh breaze of the ocean, the sand between your toes and the rumbling sound of the endless waves. After everyone made themselves home at the ATKV Natalia Resort, the rest of the first day was spent on the beach.

The most beautiful sunrise woke them up on the morning of the second day. After a visit to the Durban Harbour, everyone were ready for a boat trip on the sea! Safety was a very high priority. Hi hi captain!

A trip to Durban will never be complete without a visit to Ushaka Marine World Education Centre, where a very interisting lecture about the Sea World was presented. The dolphin show was one of the many memorable experiences. Wet and Wild was next! Woohoo!

Learners also enjoyed a day at Amanzimtoti, the Galleria Mall, Gateway Mall, and ten pin bowling. Not to forget the lanters into the night sky!

Five learners from the United Arab Emirates joined us too — which just proves how special the Brainline camps and tours are! Thank you to each learner who joined us on this tour. It was really a joy to have you on board.

We are looking forward to the leadership camp which takes place in August!
